Firefly Fling set for Saturday at Botanical Garden of the Ozarks

()

One of the most magical nights of the year in Fayetteville is coming up this weekend.

Of course, we’re talking about the Firefly Fling, set for Saturday, July 15 at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.

The annual event includes activities for kids, including an observation bee hive, work farm, goat petting zoo, fairy house-building station, face-painting, and more.

This year’s event will also include performances by songwriter Candy Lee, story time with animals by Jennifer Brinkley, a kids concert by Katie Dwyer, and more music by local party band, Jukeboxx.

Glow sticks, fairy wings, glow swords, wands, and other special items will be for sale at the event, and there will be photo opportunities with fairies, mermaids, and stilt walkers roaming the grounds. Fairy, pirate, superhero, woodland animal, or any magical creature costumes are encouraged. Blankets and lawn chairs are also recommended.

Food trucks will include Flavorful Kettle Corn, The Little Red Barn, The Smackin’ Shack, Smith and Betts Barbecue, Wicked Wood Fired Pizza, along with Burton’s Creamery, Jarabes Tapatios, and Pedal Pops.

Advance tickets are $24 for adults and $14 for kids.
