( Courtesy graphic)A group of musicians and others in the community will come together this weekend to raise funds for the family of longtime local musician Clare Starr, who passed away in June.
Local bands The Meadow Makers, Brick Fields and The 1 oz. Jig will perform at a fundraiser set to begin at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 16 at George’s Majestic Lounge.

In addition to the scheduled performances, the evening will end with a jam featuring members of The Dirt Spirits, Flipoff Pirates, Killer Sugar, and others.
A silent auction is also planned.
Admission is a $10 suggested donation at the door. Those who aren’t able to attend can also contribute via a GoFundMe page.
