South Fayetteville roads to close for overlay project

Two roads in South Fayetteville will close for a week while crews work to complete a milling and overlay project.

The roads include:

• South School Avenue between Nelson Hackett Boulevard and South Street
• South Street between West Avenue and Locust Avenue

Both roads will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays from Aug. 10-17, according to a city news post.

Detour signage will help redirect traffic around the work area, the post stated.
