Actor, comedian, rapper, writer, and producer Hannibal Buress is coming to George’s this month.

The artist is set to perform under his rap alias Eshu Tune on Monday, Aug. 14, the venue announced recently.

Buress, who broke out as a comedian has been focusing on his music lately. He released an 8-song self-titled album under the Eshu Tune moniker last year. His latest single “I Lift Weights” (Razorback quarterback KJ Jefferson would approve) came out earlier this year. According to a recent article in American Songwriter, he has been performing with a four piece band (drums, keys, bass, and guitar) in his live show, and has been working hard to refine the performance.

“I can feel myself getting better. I can see the shows getting better,” Buress told American Songwriter.

Buress stays busy, it appears. In addition to the music and comedy, he is also the voice of Genghis Frog in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie currently out in theaters, and acted in What We Do In The Shadows on FX also out this year.

Tickets to the show are $30 ($35 day of show), on sale now at George’s website.
