(Flyer Photo)The first of four fall bulky waste cleanup events is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 23 at two locations in Fayetteville.
Crews will accept bulky items that are too large to fit into regular trash bins from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shaver Foods, 1367 S. Beechwood Ave., and at the city’s Recycling & Trash Collection Facility, 1560 S. Happy Hollow Road.
Residents are asked to bring a copy of a recent water bill to verify Fayetteville residency.
There are limitations on what can be accepted at the cleanups.
Household hazardous waste (HHW) materials will not be accepted at the spring events. Those items, however, can be dropped off at the HHW Drop-off Trailer on South Happy Hollow Road and 15th Street each Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Electronic waste will be accepted on all four bulky waste cleanup dates, but only at the Recycling and Trash Collection facility.
