Community Creative Center to host free art workshops for seniors

Community Creative Center will host 20 free art workshops for seniors ages 62 and older beginning this month.

The series, sponsored by the Schmieding Foundation, will feature 2 hour art classes in a host of mediums, including painting, pottery, printmaking, and more.

The classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. The first two classes kick off next week with Pottery Wheel with Maddie Healey on Tuesday, Sept. 5, and Painterly Collage with Madi Varns on Thursday, Sept. 7.

Enrollment opens each Tuesday prior to the workshop via the Community Creative Center website.
