FAYETTEVILLE — City officials are reminding business owners to renew their business licenses by Tuesday, Oct. 31 to avoid late fees.

Renewal fees are $15 and can be submitted online.

Since 2011, all businesses – including home-based businesses – within the city limits must obtain a business license unless the business qualifies for an exemption.

Owners of short-term rental properties must also obtain a business license. Short-term rental owners who do not renew by Oct. 31 may lose their license entirely if the city’s cap of 475 licenses is reached.

For more information, contact the Business License Clerk at 479-575-8352 or email [email protected].
