Outdoor beer festival planned before Razorback soccer match

An outdoor beer festival with nearly a dozen Arkansas breweries will serve as the pre-game festivities before the Razorbacks’ soccer match against Grand Canyon on Sunday, Sept. 17 in Fayetteville.

The event, called Brew Pig Sooie, begins at 11 a.m. and will run until the soccer match starts at 1 p.m.

The cost to attend is $30 per person which includes a 5-ounce tasting cup for unlimited pours, plus a ticket to the soccer match.

Two food trucks and a live DJ are also planned for the event, according to the university.

Participating Arkansas breweries include Core Brewing, Bentonville Brewing, Eureka Springs Brewery, Flyway Brewing, Fossil Cove Brewing, GOAT Lab Brewery, Natural State Beer Co., Point Remove Brewing Co., Saddlebock Brewery, Social Project Brewing Co. and Stone’s Throw Brewing. Anheuser-Busch products will also be available for sampling.
