A Fayetteville woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday, according to a preliminary police report.
Carlie Seals, 27, was eastbound on Wheeler Road when her 2014 Subaru Outback veered off the roadway and struck an embankment, the report states. The vehicle then caught fire.
Seals was pronounced dead on the scene.
A corporal with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported that there was heavy rain at the time of the crash.
