An event that features live music, interactive activities, free ice cream, and more is coming to Fayetteville this weekend.

The third annual Pottery on the Patio event is set for Saturday, Oct. 7 at Community Creative Center.

The event will include free music by local party band, Funk Factory, along with several hands-on art making activities for attendees, including watercolor painting, pottery wheel throwing, and more.

In addition, the gallery will be open featuring a new exhibit of work by Elby Mann called Song of the Sea, an interactive installation designed to “engage participants in creative musical exploration.” The installation includes large ceramic creatures performing in an undersea band, officials said.

There will also be a pumpkin patch, and ceramic pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns made by local artists available for purchase.

The event begins at 3:30 p.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m. It is free to attend and open to the public.
