Botanical Garden of the Ozarks to host costume parade Oct. 25

It’s time to start stacking that candy, little buddies. Trick or treat season is upon us.

The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will host their annual trick-or-treat event and costume parade geared toward preschoolers from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

From the description of the event:

The Halloween Costume Parade is a great option for families looking for a safe way to get into the Halloween spirit. Preschoolers and parents are encouraged to wear costumes, play, and explore the Garden. All guests will get to see the 50+ scarecrows created by the Northwest Arkansas community for the Scarecrow Showdown community art installation and competition. Community partners will hand out treats and coupons while supplies last.

The costume parade is free for Botanical Garden of the Ozarks members, and kids 3 and under. Admission for non-members is $5 for kids 4 and older, and $10 for adults.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26.
