Fayetteville Public Schools to host input sessions on redistricting

Fayetteville Public Schools officials will host two public input sessions as part of a demographic and boundary study that will help guide redistricting decisions.

The input sessions are scheduled for 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2 inside the Performing Arts Center at Fayetteville High School, located at 994 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

The study is being conducted by MGT, a consulting firm with several offices around the U.S. that works with government organizations, school districts, higher education institutions, and not-for-profits on master planning, cyber security, and other issues.

Representatives from MGT will be on hand to collect input from parents and other attendees and their opinions on the future growth of the District, officials said.

The information will presented at both the 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. sessions, so parents should attend whichever session is most convenient.
