A man who was crossing Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on a bicycle died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning.

Ricky Harrington, 53, of Fayetteville, was crossing MLK at Shiloh Drive around 11 a.m. when he was hit by a southbound 2011 Toyota, according to a preliminary police report.
Harrington was pronounced dead at Washington Regional Medical Center, the report states.
A corporal with the Fayetteville Police Department reported that the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
