The John Cusack movie screening of “Sixteen Candles” and Q&A scheduled for Dec. 3 at Walton Arts Center has been canceled due to scheduling conflicts, officials announced Monday.

A similar event scheduled for Dec. 1 at the Robinson Center in Little Rock was also canceled.

Walton Arts Center spokesperson Jennifer Wilson said patrons who have already purchased tickets will be contacted to process a refund.

Ticket holders can also contact the center’s box office at 479-443-5600 for refund information.

The event was part of a series of appearances Cusack had planned this year, which include screenings of some of his other popular movies like “Say Anything,” “High Fidelity,” and “Grosse Pointe Blank.”
