Free screening of The Polar Express set for Dec. 22 at Walton Arts Center

The Walton Arts Center will host a free screening of a holiday classic film this month.

The arts center has opened reservations for tickets to a free showing of The Polar Express, set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22.

The movie is the film version of the children’s book by Chris Van Allsberg of the same name, and an annual screening at the WAC has become a holiday tradition for the arts center.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their pajamas to the screening.

It’s also the last night of Walton Arts Center’s Winter Nights, the holiday-themed bar located in the rose garden and Joy Pratt Markham Gallery space located on the east side of the facility.

The tickets are free to reserve, but reservations are required.
