FAYETTEVILLE — The city’s new downtown parking deck will soon serve as a canvas for a unique nighttime art installation.

Dubbed the “Canvas of Light,” the temporary exhibit will feature works from seven Arkansas artists, which will be projected onto the 100-foot facade of the south wall of the newly opened West Avenue parking deck off Dickson Street.

Artists include Donnie Copeland, Gina Gallina, Jason Jones, Melissa Milton, Eloa Jane Pereira, Kat Wilson and Anna Zusman.

The installation is scheduled to run from Dec. 19 through Jan. 2, according to a social media post from the city.

A city web page dedicated to the project includes more information about each artist and the works that will be featured in the installation.
