A beer festival featuring brews from around 50 breweries around the region is coming back to Fayetteville this winter, and the initial lineup of participating breweries and live music has been announced.
The event, organized each year by Fossil Cove, is set for Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 at 2463 N. McConnell Ave., in front of the Washington County Fairgrounds.
Live music for the 2024 event includes local artists Bonnie Montgomery (who’s latest album was included in Paste Magazine’s 30 best country albums), OKC rockers stepmom, local folk outfit Sad Palomino, and Fayetteville rockers Gardensnakes.
An afterparty is planned at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville with music from The Phlegms and Vintage Pistol.
Breweries bringing beer to the festival this year include locals Fayetteville Beer Works, Puritan Beer Co, Fossil Cove, Crisis, Columbus House, Mad Rooster, Orthodox Brewing, Ozark Beer Co, Rendevous Junction, Social Project, Bentonville Brewing, Hawk Moth, Ivory Bill, Natural State Beer Co., and Arkansas breweries Diamond Bear, Flyway, Brewing, Point Remove, Lost 40, Stones Throw, the Ouachitas, and others. For those who aren’t familiar with Frost Fest, the event started in 2016 as a way to showcase local and regional breweries from around the region, and to give back to a few local organizations. The event typically includes dozens of breweries, including several that aren’t typically available in Fayetteville. The beers were often poured by the brewers themselves, and several attendees brought exclusive or special made beers just for the event.
Tickets to the event range from $80 for general admission, to $100 for an early-entry ticket. Ticket prices go up to $90 on Feb. 3.
Ticket prices include a tasting glass, access to the brews, live music, vendors, artists, makers, food trucks, and more.
