A group of local musicians will come together to support suicide awareness and prevention efforts at a show set for next week in Fayetteville.
The event, called Musicians for Suicide Awareness, will include performances by locals acts Jesse Dean, Strange Brew, Toe Funk Jam Band, and Mystic Rhythm All Stars on Monday, January 8 at George’s Majestic Lounge.
The show is in memory of Mystic Rhythm Beazley, a local musician who passed away last winter.
In addition to the music, representatives from American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Northwest Arkansas Harm Reduction will be on hand with information and speakers, organizers said.
Doors open at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m. It is an 18 and up show.
