University of Arkansas students were set to return to class on Tuesday (Jan. 16), but it looks like the holiday break will be extended by at least a day.

UA officials on Monday announced that campus would be closed and classes cancelled due to winter weather.

From the announcement:

Due to winter weather, the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville campus will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16. IT Services, Blackboard Help, University Recreation, Dining, Arkansas Union, and Mullins Library will operate with reduced hours. Online courses will continue as regularly scheduled without any alteration. Razorback Transit will also not be in operation.
