Travelers will soon have more options for nonstop travel between Northwest Arkansas and New York.

A new service from Delta Air Lines will offer direct flights between Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA), according to a Sunday press release.

The new service begins April 15 and will run six days per week, Sunday through Friday.

Departure from Northwest Arkansas is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. on a CRJ-900 aircraft with an arrival time in New York City of 3:30 p.m., according to Delta’s website. Return flights will depart from LGA at 8:15 a.m. and arrive at XNA at 10:41 a.m.

Delta is the second airline to offer nonstop flights from XNA to Laguardia. American Airlines is currently offering morning and afternoon direct service to LGA, according to the company’s website.
