FAYETTEVILLE — Police on Wednesday arrested a man in connection with a recent shooting death.

Zachary Clark, 32, of Fayetteville, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence, according to a department social media post.
Officers were called to 3130 E. Huntsville Road shortly after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 after receiving a report of a shooting incident, the post stated. Once on the scene, investigators found Thomas McEnaney, 23, of Springdale dead on the property.
Police allege that Clark shot McEnaney a few days before the incident was reported.
Clark was being held Thursday at the Washington County Detention Center with bond pending. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
