New Arkansas basketball coach John Calipari is continuing to build his staff at Arkansas.

The UA on Wednesday announced that two members of Calipari’s Kentucky staff will join him at Arkansas, with Ronald “Chin” Coleman hired as associated head coach and Chuck Martin added as assistant coach.

Coleman has coached in the college game for 13 years, including three under Calipari at Kentucky. Before that, he coached at Illinois, UIC, Bradley, and Colorado State.

Martin has coached for more than 24 years. He worked with Calipari at Memphis from 2006-08 and again at Kentucky for the 2023-24 season. Martin led the recruiting efforts at Kentucky last year, where the Cats class was ranked No. 1 in the nation by 247 Sports.

Martin also coached at Oregon, with stops at South Carolina, Indiana, and as a scout for the Oklahoma City Thunder before that. He also was an assistant at St. Johns, Drexel, UMass, and Manhattan.
