Congrats, everyone. You made it through another week. Cheers.
It’s a bit of a star-studded weekend in Fayetteville this weekend. For one, the John Legend show at the Momentary that seemed a little iffy earlier this week due to the tornado that struck Benton County last weekend will go on as planned, officials announced on Thursday. The show is set for Saturday night, and the venue will collect non-perishable food items at the door to donate to local relief efforts.
George’s Majestic Lounge will host locals Monk is King, Mildenhall, and Memphis-based indie band Lemons for a show on Friday night, followed by Jason Boland and the Stragglers on Saturday night.
Also in tunes, 90s stars Hootie & the Blowfish, Collective Soul, and Edwin McCain will play at the Walmart AMP on Friday night.
Comedian Jon Lovitz is performing all weekend at The Grove Comedy Club. If any tickets to the shows remain, here is where to get them.
Speaking of stars, Hagan Smith and the Arkansas Razorbacks will be playing for a chance to advance a step closer to the College World Series this weekend. The Hogs will start things off with a 2 p.m. game on Friday afternoon (weather permitting) versus Southeast Missouri State.
Pride Month festivities kick off this weekend with the Big Gay Pride Market at ONF on Saturday.
There’s plenty more where that came from (the list below). Click around for details on anything that sounds interesting.
Have a great weekend, everyone.
