(Walton Arts Center)The Walton Arts Center is now accepting submissions for the fourth annual “Our Art, Our Region, Our Time” exhibition, which showcases works from Northwest Arkansas visual artists. The exhibition will be curated by local artist Kathy P. Thompson.
Artists from all visual art mediums, over the age of 18, and residing in Northwest Arkansas are invited to apply with works completed after Jan. 1, 2023. The exhibition is unthemed and aims to celebrate the diverse artists of the region.
Artists can submit up to two works for consideration. The submission deadline is Thursday, Aug. 1. Applications can be submitted online at waltonartscenter.org/visualarts.
Selections for the exhibition will be announced on Friday, Aug. 9. The exhibition will open to the public on Friday, Aug. 30, and run through Sunday, Oct. 27.
The center will not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, national origin, or veteran status, according to a news release.
