Nelly to play show to benefit WAC educational efforts Sept. 12

St. Louis rapper Nelly will play a show benefitting Walton Arts Center’s educational efforts this fall.

Nelly will perform at a benefit called AMP Up the Arts on Thursday, Sept. 12 at Walmart AMP.

Proceeds from the show will benefit Walton Arts Center’s educational programming, which has served more than 26,000 students and educators in NWA offering free live theatre performances each year.

Tickets to the Nelly performance are $80-$100 for a seated ticket, or $125 for a seat plus parking in the Red Lot.

Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will start at around 8:30 p.m.

The show is not part of the AMP’s Cox Concert Series, officials said.
