The Fayetteville animal shelter will offer free dog and cat adoptions from June 24-29.

The shelter will waive all adoption fees as part of their Big Summer Blowout aimed to help connect local pets with new families and clear space and resources at the shelter.

“We have numerous amazing pups and a few adorable kitties eagerly waiting for loving homes,” Lentz said. “With our kennels reaching capacity, we’re excited to help these wonderful animals find their forever families.?

All available dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated prior to going home with their new owners.

The adoption process starts online with an application form. Once approved, applicants are invited to visit the shelter and choose a dog.

The shelter is located at 1640 S. Armstrong Ave. and is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
