Fayetteville’s Jason Jones completes new murals at Central Arkansas Nature Center

Fayetteville artist Jason Jones recently completed a new set of murals at the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center in Little Rock.

The works, which feature the state’s flora and fauna, are a collaboration between the Downtown Little Rock Partnership and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

An Instagram post from Jones states that the works are painted across four walls and span 200 feet.

The commission helped ensure “all plant and wildlife renderings were correctly depicted and native to Arkansas,” according to a post from the DLRP.

Jones is responsible for numerous works around Fayetteville and across the region, including murals, sculptures, paintings and more. Visit his portfolio page to see plenty of recognizable examples.
