East Fayetteville and Goshen (City of Fayetteville)Residents in east Fayetteville and Goshen are being asked to conserve water and adjust their irrigation schedules.
Officials said dry conditions and extreme heat have led to an increased demand on the city’s water system, which has resulted in reduced water pressure for some customers, according to a news release. Similar have been made in previous summers.

The affected area is east of North Crossover Road, particularly off Highway 45 (Mission Boulevard) and Highway 16 (Huntsville Road).
City officials have restricted residents in those areas to nighttime irrigation schedules and set certain days in which landscape watering can occur.
The schedule is:
- Even numbered addresses may irrigate between the hours of 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
- Odd numbered addresses may irrigate between the hours of 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
