The Peel Compton Foundation will host a Halloween-themed pickleball tournament at Osage Park later this year.

The Monster Match Pickleball Tournament, set for Oct. 26-27, encourages participants to dress in Halloween costumes, with additional prizes for best-dressed players.

The event will feature a round-robin format for players with skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.0. Medals and prizes will be awarded to the top three in each division.

Participants must register as teams of two, with each player signing up separately. The entry fee is $40 per person, or $60 for those competing in both doubles and mixed doubles categories.

“This tournament is perfect for all levels of play, from those who have never played in a tournament to the experienced 4.0 players,” said Layne Hyatt, director of programs at Peel Compton Foundation. “As an added element to the tournament, we strongly encourage all participants to get into the spirit of the season and play in costume.”
