Several thousand people filled the street, sidewalks, and businesses along Block Avenue on Sunday for what was most certainly the largest Block Street Block Party to date.

Organizers of the annual Block Street Block Party last week announced the stage schedule for the festival, and as always, Block Avenue is going to be rocking again this spring.

Some local folks have concocted a plan to honor the singer at this year’s Block Street Block Party.

If you’ve ever found yourself at the annual Block Street Block Party thinking to yourself, “Man, this day couldn’t possibly get any better,” organizers this year are aiming to prove you wrong.

Block Street Block Party is currently seeking vendors, volunteers, and sponsors for their 2016 festival, set for May 22.

It’s pretty cool to see the early morning setup, then follow along as the street turns from quiet to absolutely packed with people for the event.

As it has every year for the past five years now, Block Street Block Party once again rocked Block Avenue on a Sunday night in May.

This year’s festival includes musical performances by nearly 30 musical acts on five stages, local craft beer from eight Arkansas breweries, belly dancers, performance artists, and more.
