If you thought UARK Bowl was screwing around with their recent focus on bringing nationally known comedians to town, you were wrong, buddy. Dead wrong.
Officials announced this afternoon that renowned comedian Carlos Mencia will be in town for a performance at the venue on Sunday, March 11.
“We are beyond excited to have Carlos Mencia taking the UARK Bowl stage in March, not to mention all the other nationally recognized talent scheduled between now and then,” said Roger Haak, the venue’s public events coordinator. “We hope that bringing big names like Carlos Mencia to Northwest Arkansas proves we aren’t kidding about being the region’s ‘it’ venue for live comedy.”
