Crews work to repair a portion East Township Street in Fayetteville Wednesday morning.

Road work began on East Township Street between Crossover Road and Primrose Lane this week.
Crews with the city’s transportation department are making pavement repairs which require closure of that section of Township on weekdays for the duration of the project.
According to a city news release, the work is expected to last about three weeks unless adverse weather conditions cause delays.
Detour signs are in place on all sides of the work site.
