The Wilson Park pool is coming out of hibernation this week. Opening day is Friday, June 1.

Walton Arts Center officials hired Portland-based architecture firm Boora this week to create a broad sketch of what a downtown parking deck would look like at each of the remaining site options; the WAC Lot, and the Theater Lot.
A section of Prospect Street will be closed through the end of May to allow for a sidewalk and curb construction project near Wilson Park in Fayetteville.
Washington County Sheriff Tim Helder announced a Red Flag Fire Warning at 2:30 p.m. yesterday as a result of extremely dry weather conditions.
