Update: Here they are!

University of Arkansas officials will unveil the long-rumored new football uniforms at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 13, according to a press release issued Monday evening.

Officials are promising fans a comprehensive, in-depth look on ArkansasRazorbacks.com which will include a 15-minute, online video presentation and interviews with athletics director Jeff Long, head football coach John L. Smith and members of the Razorback football team.

From the release:

The 2012 season promises to be another exciting year with Arkansas returning 16 starters and 49 letterwinners. With a nationally ranked squad set to take the field and one of the most anticipated home schedules in history, the 2012 football team will bring a new look to a tradition-rich program.

The Razorbacks have a long history of success in their 118 years of football, and Wednesday’s unveiling will show respect to the past while also looking toward the future with more modern elements. Arkansas won 21 games in the last two seasons to tie the school record for most wins in a two-year period set in 1964-65. The Razorbacks also played in the first BCS game in school history in 2010 and finished the 2011 season 11-2 and ranked No. 5 in the AP poll for the program’s first top-five finish since 1977.
