The spring 2013 Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission funding requests are in and organizers are seeking a total of $261,861 for 16 planned events or projects.
That’s about $45,000 less than what was requested last spring, but nearly $74,000 more than is available for distribution this year.
Marilyn Heifner, A&P executive director, said commissioners will have $188,462 in leftover A&P funds to donate to organizers requesting financial assistance this spring.
This year’s spring funding meeting is set to begin at noon on Monday, May 13 inside the Fayetteville Town Center conference room.
