A man is in critical condition after being hit by two vehicles while crossing North College Avenue just after 10 p.m. Thursday.
Police said Gilbert Flores, 34, had just left Hooters and was crossing the road when he was struck by a green Honda Accord. The man then stood up and was hit a second time by a yellow Ford Econoline.
Flores was transported by ambulance to Washington Regional Medical Center and was later transported by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Police said the drivers do not face any criminal charges.
Update: Flores died Tuesday, according to KNWA.
