Fayetteville crews worked all day Monday in an effort to help clear up some of the roads around town.
By 3 p.m. the snow and ice that had covered many of the major streets had been reduced to water or slush.
According to the National Weather Service, the next possible round of precipitation won’t come until noon on Tuesday when the forecast calls for only a 20 percent chance of light snow.
Here are a few photos we took while driving around town between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Monday afternoon.
