Springfest will return on Saturday, April 16, with a host of activities on Dickson Street in Fayetteville.
This year’s event kicks off with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. in the Walton Arts Center parking lot at the corner of West Avenue and Dickson, followed by the annual Springfest 5k at 8 a.m.
After that, expect a full day of live music, a dog parade, a pub crawl, the traditional bed races, dozens of local arts and crafts vendors, and more.
Participants can register for the Springfest 5k online at register-wizard.com. Registration is $25 for adults, $20 for students and the price includes a free meal at the pancake breakfast.
Live music will take place throughout the day on three different stages, the Bruce Walker Memorial Stage located in the bus loading zone on Dickson Street on the north side of the Walton Arts Center, one at nearby Powerhouse Seafood & Grill, and a third stage at Kingfish.
Proceeds from the event benefit the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
