FLYER GUIDE: Where to watch fireworks in NWA in 2020

Photo: Steven Young, CC 2.0

There are fewer of them than normal this year, but folks who are interested in checking out a fireworks display in NWA to celebrate Independence Day will probably still be able to find one.

Several of the events that typically happen around the region, particularly those sponsored by municipalities, are not happening this year.

The ones that are happening have eliminated some of their non-firework festivities. The one at the Walmart AMP, for example, won’t include a concert this year, and officials are asking folks to watch from their cars.

The event in Bentonville will still have music, but they will operate in a reconfigured situation at Orchard’s park to allow for more social distancing.

But there will still be fireworks in 2020, despite the pandemic we’re living through.

We’ll likely add to this list between now and the 4th, and as always, feel free to let us know about anything we missed in the comments.

Happy 4th of July, everyone.
