Just in time for Halloween, a writer of spooky stories for kids for more than 30 years will make an appearance at Fayetteville Public Library.
The library will host Goosebumps series author R. L. Stine for an author talk at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 in the library’s event center as part of the annual True Lit Festival.

Stine also publishes novels for adults now, including his recent work Superstitious, The Sitter, Eye Candy, and Red Rain.
In addition to the author talk, Stine will be on hand to sign books after his on-stage appearance.
The event is one of several planned as part of the True Lit Festival, a collaboration between the library, Fayetteville Public Schools, Walton Arts Center, University of Arkansas Program in Creative Writing and Translation, and Altrusa International of Fayetteville.
