USL Arkansas is asking for help in naming the state’s new pro soccer teams.

The group’s “Name the Team” campaign will run through October at uslarkansas.com.

“Community is the backbone of any successful soccer club, and this campaign allows us to incorporate the voice of Northwest Arkansas directly into our identity,” added Warren Smith, co-founder of USL Arkansas.

The United Soccer League in July announced that USL Arkansas will bring pro men’s and women’s clubs to the region to play at a new 5,000-seat stadium to be built near the corner of Lazy L Street and Bellview Road, near the Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers.

If all goes well, both new teams will begin play in the 2026 season, prior to the 2026 FIFA World Cup set to take place in the U.S. that same year.
