A beloved food truck that got its start in Fayetteville is coming back to town.

After spending a few months in Rogers, Dot’s Nashville Hot Chicken will return to Fayetteville soon.

Dot’s opened in Fayetteville during the summer of 2017. As the name suggests, the truck specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken and other dishes.

Owner and chef Russell Ingram announced back in the spring his plans to move the truck to the lot next to Natural State Beer at 5214 Village Pkwy Suite 140 in Rogers.

This week, however, he said he’s decided to come back to his original spot at the Yacht Club.

“I’m moving the truck back to Fayetteville this weekend,” he told us.

Ingram said if all goes well, he hopes to be back at his original location by the end of next week.
