Carmical purchased the winning Natural State Jackpot ticket through Lotto.com for the Dec. 14 drawing. The winning numbers were 6, 16, 20, 25, and 29.
Carmical, a regular lottery player, secured the jackpot by matching all five numbers. She told lottery officials that she consistently chooses those numbers, which she refers to as “angel numbers,” symbolizing faith and new beginnings. She said she plans to use the prize money for bills and retirement savings.
The retailer that sold the winning ticket, Player’s Café, will receive a commission of $2,500, which is the standard 1% of the sales of winning lottery products.
The Natural State Jackpot holds its draws at 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The jackpot starts at $50,000 and increases incrementally with each draw, beginning with $5,000 and later $10,000 increments until the jackpot is claimed. Each play costs $1.
