Also in tunes, local Grateful Dead and Taking Heads tribute (just trust us) The Grateful Talking Deadheads will perform a two-night stand at George’s on Friday and Saturday night this weekend.
If you feel like moving your backside, a good chance to do that is happening at West & Watson when local DJs Sickboy, Cudcareless, and Of Faces are set to perform on Friday night.
It’s the final car-free Friday of the year on the square during Lights of the Ozarks on Friday night. Tonight’s festivities include performances by Ashtyn Barbaree, Elite Dance Group, and Leyton Robinson, along with a group of local Christmas carolers.
There’s a daytime performance on Saturday at Ozark Natural Foods featuring locals, Dead Horse Mountain Band. Music starts at 1 p.m.
How about a show? It’s the last weekend to check out TheatreSquared’s holiday show, A Christmas Carol. The show ends its run on Christmas Eve.
