FAYETTEVILLE — Mount Sequoyah’s spring Music on the Mountain series will be free in 2024, thanks to a state grant from the Division of Arkansas Heritage.

The outdoor concert series includes five events from March through May at Mount Sequoyah Center in Fayetteville.

The lineup includes a variety of local talents exploring Ozark and Americana music, including Shannon Wurst, Jude Brothers, Bernice and Brian Hembree of Smokey and the Mirror, Dylan Earl, and the Shiloh Old Time Pickers.

Additionally, the concerts will feature emerging local artists as openers, including Jessi Morrison, Sun Son (KC Floyd), Lillyanna, and Drew Hudson Rogers.

Admission to the concert series is free, but tickets must be reserved in advance.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes. The event will have a selection of snacks and drinks for sale to support Mount Sequoyah. Concerts will be held at Vesper Point, allowing guests to enjoy the sunset at the overlook. In case of bad weather, Clapp Auditorium will serve as a backup venue.

March 9 – Shannon Wurst with Lilyanna
March 30 – Jude Brothers with Sun Son
April 14 – Bernice and Brian Hembree with Jessi Morrison
May 11 – Dylan Earl with Drew Hudson Rogers
