A new place for sweet treats is coming to the north part of town.
Missouri-based frozen dessert chain Andy’s Frozen Custard has a new location in the works at 272 E. Joyce Blvd., in the building formerly home to Boss Man Tacos.
Andy’s currently operates a location on the other end of town at 1523 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The chain also opened a store on College Avenue about 15 years ago, but that location closed a few years later.
The restaurant offers a variety of frozen treats, including vanilla or chocolate cones, sundaes, concretes and other items.
According to their website, there are currently five Andy’s locations in Northwest Arkansas, including the MLK location in Fayetteville, one in Springdale, two in Rogers, and one in Bentonville.
Renovations of the building are underway. A spokesperson for the restaurant said if all goes well, the new location will open sometime in May of 2024.
