It’s the best week of the year for local restaurant lovers.

A host of local restaurants will participate in Fayetteville Restaurant Week from Feb. 25-March 2.

The celebration of local eateries is organized by Experience Fayetteville, and features dozens of local restaurant offering up specials, prix fix menus, and more.

For example, Penguin Ed’s will offer half price BBQ nachos at both of their locations. Leverett Lounge is offering KFC bites for $11 and Mel’s Diners for $6 all week. Wood Stone will offer a special Restaurant Week menu all week, and Flying Burrito will offer a bundled meal featuring a chicken burrito, small queso and a drink for $11.

“February tends to be relatively slow for local restaurants,” said Sarah King, vice president of marketing and communications for Experience Fayetteville. “Restaurant Week is Experience Fayetteville’s chance to do what we do best – advertise and promote the restaurants that contribute so much to Fayetteville’s unique character. Last year, we had 54 participating restaurants. Restaurant Week filled their reservation books and brought first-time customers.”

In addition, Experience Fayetteville is also giving away a $500 gift card to someone who visits a restaurant in Fayetteville during the celebration, posts a photo of the experience to Instagram, and tags the post with #FRW24.
