While all the dates have yet to be pinned down, the Arkansas Razorbacks’ football schedule for 2025 season is going to be one for the ages.

Sure, the Hogs will open the season and likely close it with teams from Missouri, but in between, the Hogs will play a dream of a schedule, featuring Notre Dame, Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Auburn and Mississippi State.

Since Missouri is the Razorbacks’ designated SEC “rival,” it is likely the Hogs will play the Tigers in Fayetteville on Nov. 29, a Saturday or possibly Nov. 28, a Friday.

Since Missouri joined the SEC, CBS often moved the Arkansas-Missouri game to Friday, but with ESPN/ABC now handling broadcasting of SEC games that could change.

No doubt, ESPN/ABC will want an SEC game on its schedule for Black Friday, but we don’t know if it will be the Tigers and the Hogs.

There are advantages and disadvantages either way. Fans seem to like the Friday date, but high school playoffs are still ongoing at that time of the season so having it on a Friday might not be great for some recruits whose teams are still playing.

The Hogs’ other SEC home games will be against Auburn, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M.

The Razorbacks’ SEC road schedule is a doozy. It features trips to LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas. That will be a tough row for the Razorback to hoe, but for fans who like to travel, it should make for some awesome trips.

Here are the dates we know for sure:

Aug. 30 — Missouri State
Sept. 6 — Arkansas State at Little Rock
Sept. 20 — at Memphis
Sept. 27 — Notre Dame

The Hogs’ schedule would be challenging for any team in America even without the likes of Georgia, Alabama, or Florida on the slate, but that kind of challenge is what makes Arkansas’ membership in the SEC so fantastic.

A team that wins eight or nine games against any SEC schedule has accomplished something, particularly with Texas and Oklahoma joining the league this fall.

After enjoying spring break, the Razorbacks are back to work with spring drills on Tuesday. Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman and his staff have 10 more workouts, including the spring game at noon on April 13.
