A bookstore with locations in Tontitown and Bentonville is planning to open a children’s bookstore in Fayetteville.
Renovations are underway for a new Once Upon a Time Books store in Evelyn Hills Shopping Center that plans to carry books created for readers from pre-K through middle school, officials said in a press release issued this week.
“We are excited to bring our passion for children’s literature and literacy to the vibrant community of Fayetteville,” said Allison Harrison, General Manager of Once Upon a Time Books. “Our new location will offer a curated collection of new books, in addition to our vast selection of used books, providing young readers with a wide range of options to explore.”
The store will carry a wide range of new and used books, officials said, from classics to newer titles.
In addition, the new Fayetteville store will also include a large event space for birthday parties and other gatherings.
The shop’s flagship store, including a large book shop and a cafe, is located at 462 E. Henri De Tonti Blvd. in Tontitown.
In 2020, the shop expanded to open a location on the Bentonville square at 116 W. Central Ave.
Renovations on the Fayetteville location are underway. The shop’s address is 1336 N. College Ave.
Officials this week said the new shop is on track to open in May of this year.
