The lineup is set for an annual spring music festival organized by the University of Arkansas.

Springtime of Youth, as the event has been called, this year will include performances by pop singer Bazzi, rapper Rico Nasty, indie pop artists Cults and Echosmith, and locals Squash Garden, Ozark Riviera, and Leyton Robinson. The event will take place on Saturday, April 20 in the parking lot at Baum-Walker Stadium.

Bazzi, who is headlining this year’s event, is best known for his 2017 viral song, Mine that peaked at No. 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Rico Nasty also gained popularity online with the success of her tracks Smack a Bitch and Poppin’ that spread on YouTube in 2018.

Springtime of Youth debuted in 2015 as an alternative to the committee’s typical semester concerts held at Barnhill Arena. The inaugural event took place over two consecutive days, but was converted to a single-day event in 2016.

Past performers include Faye Webster, Grouplove, Kesha, Galantis, Bleachers, Lil Dicky, Big Sean, Young the Giant, Caitlyn Smith, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, Børns, Mutemath, Moxie Raia, MisterWives, Dominic Fike, and others.

Tickets to the event are typically free for students. According to the Instagram post announcing the lineup, they will be made available for students to reserve via HogSync at noon on Friday.

In years past, if any space is available after student reservations, the tickets are made available to the public for a fee. We’ll keep you posted if we learn more.
